Mrs. Hollie Clune
Home Town: Tipp City, Ohio
Education\Degrees: Upon graduating from Vandalia-Butler, I began to attend Wright State University. While there I earned my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education (1-8). The day after I earned my degree, I was offered a position in Special Education at Esther Dennis Middle School in Northridge. As I was working there, I took classes in the area of Special Education to eventually earn my Intervention Specialist License. While I was at Northridge I worked in Special Education and General Education, teaching Social Studies. After three years I was offered a position in Riverside at Mad River Middle School continuing work in Special Education. I worked within a Resource Room with students in grades 6-8 who all participated in Alternate Assessments. While at Mad River I kept taking coursework to earn my Masters Degree. I was with Mad River for three years before I moved on, accepting a position in Troy at Concord Elementary. When hired in Troy, I was still taking classes to earn my Masters Degree. When I finally finished my Masters I took more classes to obtain a Reading Endorsement. I have now earned a Principal License from the University of Dayton. This is my 17th year teaching at Concord.
Personal: Currently, I try to balance my career with my family. My husband and I have two sons and a daughter.
