Ohio Department of Education State Report Cards (2024)

With 4.5 overall stars, Troy scored in the top 12% of all 606 districts in the state. Troy’s overall performance score was 12th out of 56 schools in Miami and surrounding counties. In the Growth category, the Troy City Schools were 10th out of 606 districts statewide in total growth. Troy had the highest growth score out of 56 schools in Miami and surrounding counties. Troy High School recorded the second-highest growth score out of 3,022 school buildings in the state!

Educating Unique Learners

We put our highest priority on educating students of all ability levels in our district. In addition to looking out for their academic needs, we also do everything we can to ensure their physical and emotional needs are met, as well. We currently serve around 320 students in grades K-6 with formal gifted services. Our English Language Learners program has 8 staff who offer services to 180 students who speak 30 different native languages. Our district has a Social, Emotional Learning Coordinator who oversees our students’ social and emotional needs.

Serving approximately 4,000 students across our schools, we are a community-driven district nestled in a city of 22,000, conveniently located along I-75, just 20 miles north of Dayton.
