I have been teaching Spanish here at Troy High School since 1993 and serve as the chair for the Foreign Language Department. I currently live in Englewood with my husband. Please feel free to e-mail or call if you have any questions or concerns about your child. The best times to call me at school are in the morning before 7:30 a.m. or 1:45 - 3:00 p.m. I check my e-mail frequently and try to respond within 24 hours when possible. You are able to access your child's grades on Power School and I would strongly encourage you to do so. I try to update grades at least every other day and this is a great tool to keep students on track and to keep parents up to date on their student's progress. If I could give any Spanish students one piece of advice it would be to study Spanish every single night. Languages must be learned by repetition and consistent effort. There are always vocabulary words to memorize and grammar topics to be studied. Even a small amount of study time every night is much better than studying for hours the night before a test!
