Family: I am married to Mike; our children have graduated from Troy City Schools and are off to pursue their education and careers!

Philosophy: My job is to provide experiences and opportunities to help your child be successful. Some students need extra help, other students need challenges; all students deserve and receive my best each day. I hope to be a partner with families in the education process.

Hobbies: I read, hike, bike, and scrapbook when I have time. A family hike at Charleston Falls is my favorite weekend activity.

Students in intermediate grades are finding their own voices and opinions. They are experiencing changing friendships and studying more complex subject matter. This is a very exciting time! I encourage you to spend time together, outside, observing nature and thinking about - and talking about - how the world and community function.  You might want to read my favorite book, Charlotte's Web by E.B. White. I have read it 50 times and each time it touches me.

Watching your child make discoveries is the best part of my job!
