Kindergarten registration has been rescheduled for June 2, 3 and 4.
Due to social distancing guidelines, all elementary building registrations will take place at Troy High School. We are requesting ONE custodial parent or guardian bring the documentation needed to complete enrollment. Children should NOT attend. Per state guidelines, it is recommended for all persons to wear facial masks in public places.
If you have not already completed the online registration, please do so by May 29, 2020 to make sure that we have your student's information prior to the in-person registration below. To complete the registration, click on Registration Gateway at the top of the district homepage. Click on the link to access Registration Gateway, then click on New Student Gateway. When entering your student’s information, select “Next Year” for the enrollment year. If you have any questions regarding the online registration process, please call the Board of Education Office at 937-332-6700 and leave a message.
TROY HIGH SCHOOL - **UPDATE** Please enter through the main doors on the northside of Troy High School and someone will be there to direct you.
DATES & TIMES:
Tuesday, June 2 -- Cookson and Hook, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Wednesday, June 3 -- Heywood and Forest, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Thursday, June 4 -- Concord and Kyle, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
WHAT TO BRING:
- Driver’s license or state issued photo identification of custodial parent or guardian
- Official Birth Certificate (passport or green card) confirming your child was born on or before August 1, 2015 (hospital records and/or photocopies will not be accepted)
- Proof of residency (current lease, mortgage document or utility bill: Troy Water, DP&L or Vectren) with name of the parent/guardian enrolling the child
- Custody papers (if applicable)
- Immunization records
- Preschool (or previous kindergarten) progress report (if applicable)
By bringing all the above with you, you will be able to complete the process for your child to be enrolled.
Your child must have a physical examination authorized by a licensed physician BEFORE the first day of school. The examination should occur within one year of the start of the school year. Forms will be available on the dates above and can also be found under the Parent Resources tab on our website.
Note: Foster children need to be registered through Children’s Services and enrolled by a caseworker.
