TROY -- Parents who are dropping off or picking up their children at Troy Junior High School this school year need to be aware of changes from previous drop off and pick up procedures.
Parents should enter the Troy Junior High School campus from the Adams Street entrance. Upon entering, parents who are planning to turn left to drop their children off in front of Troy Junior High School first will be required to stop before making that left turn. There will be a stop sign and stop bar painted on the street to remind parents of this change.
When dropping off or picking up students, drivers should park as close as possible to the curb in front of Troy Junior High School. Once students have been dropped off or picked up, parents should proceed north toward the exit onto Adams Street.
School buses will drop off and pick up children at a designated area south of the area being used by parents. Empty buses then will proceed to the left of the student drop off and pick-up area, make a left turn around the parking island and head back to the bus garage.
Parents who are departing to the drop off/pick-up area need to be aware of school buses to their left as they leave the Troy Junior High School campus.
