TROY -- It’s a celebration one century in the making.

Concord Elementary School will mark its 100th year with an open house from 1-3 p.m. Sept. 21. The open house will include building tours, a special video presentation and a display of historical artifacts from the past.

The event is open to the public. Former students, teachers and staff members are encouraged to attend.

Concord Elementary School was originally built in 1919 and has undergone four building additions since then. With more than 600 students, it has the largest enrollment of any elementary school within the Troy City School district.
