Troy City Schools Mask Mandate

Trojan families:

After carefully examining the COVID-19 positivity rates both in our schools and our community, and consulting with local health experts, we are, with the approval of the Troy Board of Education, instituting a mask mandate for students and staff members in all of our school buildings.

This mandate will go into effect Wednesday, September 15. Any student or staff member who is within 6 feet of another student or staff member, will be required to wear a face mask.

We have two primary goals as a school district: to keep children safe and to educate them. By instituting this mask mandate, we feel it will allow us to more effectively accomplish both of these goals.

We will remain in constant contact with local health officials, as well as our board of education, in deciding how long this mask mandate will last.

Thank you and Go Trojans!
