Troy City Schools returning for in-person learning beginning Jan. 19

Trojan families:

The Troy City Schools will be returning to fully in-person learning on Tuesday, January 19. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is Monday, January 18, and all TCS buildings will be closed that day.

It is our goal to remain in person for the second semester. We will continue to monitor infection rates in our schools, in Troy and in Miami County. We also will consult regularly with local and state health officials.

Also, as usual, we will be dismissing 1 hour early Friday, January 22, the final day of the first semester. (Please note the date. We will NOT dismiss early tomorrow, Jan. 15).

For those who have asked: Students who were in the Troy Online Academy the first semester who wish to remain in the TOA for the second semester, they will be automatically rolled over into TOA for the second semester. They do not need to do anything other than continue to log in daily for assignments.

Students who are switching from TOA to in person or from in person to TOA for the second semester and did so before the Nov. 30 deadline have all been approved for the move.

The second semester begins Monday, January 25.

We wish our families health and success as we begin the second semester of the school year.
