Troy City Schools to remain on hybrid learning for at least 2 weeks after holidays

Trojan families:

We hope this finds you happy and healthy as you begin your final preparations for the upcoming holiday season. The last day of school for students prior to the break is Friday, Dec. 18.

As the holidays approach, we wanted to give all of our families an idea of what to expect, and what to plan for, when school resumes on Jan. 4 following the holiday break.

After examining the data made available by the Ohio Department of Health and Miami County Public Health, we do not have any reason to believe the infection rates in Miami County, and specifically Troy, will drop significantly between today and Jan. 4.

With all of that in mind, we have made the decision to continue hybrid learning through Friday, January 15th.  To review our hybrid plan, please click HERE

It is our goal to return students to full time in person instruction as soon as possible.

We will continue to monitor the infection rates and work closely with state and local health officials throughout the break. Should the infection rates drop significantly, we will return to fully in-person learning. Should the infection rate increase to Level 4 (Purple), we would go to fully remote learning.

We hope that you have a happy and safe holiday break.
