Registration for Troy Online Learning Academy reopens until 5 p.m. Aug. 7

On Tuesday afternoon (Aug. 4), Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced he was changing his policy regarding the wearing of face masks in schools, and that ALL students (including grades K-2, which previously had been exempt from wearing face masks) will be required to wear face masks when returning to school this year.

Although the previous advice from the American Academy of Pediatrics had stated children in grades K-2 should not wear masks, that recommendation has since changed.

As a result, we are reopening registration for the Troy Online Academy until 5 p.m. Aug. 7. This opportunity will be open to ALL students in grades K-12.

Parents who have already registered their students for the Troy Online Academy DO NOT need to register their children again. This is only for parents who have not yet registered their children, but want to do so.

We will continue to follow the guidelines set forth by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, the Ohio Department of Education and state and local health officials. Those guidelines are always subject to change.
