National Scholarships 

-- The Elks National Foundation 
Application Deadline:  November 5, 2019
Amount:  $1,000 - $12,500

  • Current high school seniors, or the equivalent, who are citizens of the United States are eligible to apply.
  • Applicants need not be related to a member of the Elks.
  • High school graduates are not eligible to apply.
  • Applicants must be citizens of the United States on the date their applications are signed; permanent legal resident status does not qualify.

Application Deadline:  5:00 pm EST Thursday, October 31, 2019
Amount:  Varies

  • Current high school (or home-schooled) students attending a school in the U.S. (or select DoD schools) who will graduate during the 2019-2020 academic school year
  • U.S. Citizens (not a Temporary Resident), U.S. Nationals, U.S. Permanent Residents, Refugees, Asylees, Cuban-Haitian Entrants, or Humanitarian Parolees - based on the guidelines utilized by U.S. Department of Education for Federal Financial Aid eligibility
  • On track to graduate this academic year (2019-2020)
  • Planning to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution

Amount:  $20,000

  • Must be a woman committed to serving the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church who would otherwise be unable to afford a college education

Application Deadline:  October 15, 2019
Amount:  $3,500

  • Current high school senior graduating spring, 2020
  • Have a minimum unweighted 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • Be of Hispanic heritage (includes Spain, Brazil, Philippines)
  • If selected, attendance to regional awards ceremony is mandatory and travel is at the recipient's expense

  • Pursuing an automotive degree or related field of study

College or University Specific Scholarship Opportunities

-- Gettysburg College -- Eisenhower Scholarship
Application Deadline:  January 15, 2020
Amount:  $160,000 for four years of full-time study ($40,000 per year)

  • Awarded to top-performing applicants attending Gettysburg College within a most challenging curriculum who have demonstrated a high level of civic engagement locally, nationally, and/or internationally.
