The Troy City School District is reaching out to all community members to help the district develop a plan for the future. That plan will set priorities, focus energy and resources, strengthen operations, and ensure that employees and stakeholders are working toward common goals. This process will ensure the community and school officials can establish agreement around intended outcomes, and assess and adjust the organization’s direction in response to an ever changing environment that puts children and student learning at the center. This strategic planning process will ensure our schools will meet the needs of our students and community.
The district has developed a Strategic Planning Team to lead this work. The Strategic Planning Team is composed of the District Administration Team and the School Board.
Community input is essential to the process. Parents and community members are encouraged and invited to become involved in this process. A survey seeking opinions and priorities from everyone in the community is available if you CLICK HERE and will be open until October 31st. There will also be both invited and open-invitation focus groups at various locations. Stay tuned to our social media outlets or check our website in the near future as we establish dates for those meetings. We look forward to collaborating with you as we plan for our future.
For more information on how you can become involved or for questions about the process, feel free to contact Superintendent Chris Piper at email@example.com.
