Meet Your 2016-2017 Forest Elementary PTO Board Members!

Outgoing Forest Elementary PTO board members elected the following members to serve on your PTO Board for 2016-2017:

Meggan Barnhart - President

Meggan has been a member of Forest Elementary PTO for 5 years. She is an independent Cosmetologist at Troy Salon and Day Spa and has been doing hair for 6 years.  She and her husband, Eli, have been married for 13 years and have five children, Jayden a senior, Jesse a 7th grader, Jarod a 5th grader, and the twins, Jason and Katlynn who are 4th graders. Meggan is also very active in all of their sports. She enjoys all the love and support the teachers give the students here at Forest and feels they treat them as if they were their own children.


LaTisha McAdams – Co-Vice President   

LaTisha has been married to her husband, Nathan, for ten years. Their son Alex is going into 3rd grade this year and Nicholas is going into 1st grade. LaTisha works at Kroger Greenville as Customer Service Manager. When not volunteering for school she is involved with the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer committee for the walk that is held in Sidney each year.


Whitney Whitehead - Co-Vice President

Whitney is an RN at UVMC. She works on the cardiac floor on night shift. She and her husband Zack have been married ten years and have three energetic boys – Troy (9), Paxton (6) and Maddox (3). Whitney is looking forward to doing great things for our kids at Forest Elementary!


Deborah Tippie - Secretary

Deborah and her husband, Nathan, have been married for 17 years and their daughter, Leah, is a second grader at Forest. Deborah is a stay at home mom and enjoys volunteering in the classroom. This is her second year serving as Forest PTO secretary. She is excited to be a part of the PTO team again this year to see what great things we can make happen for our children at Forest Elementary!


Dayna Hammer - Treasurer

Dayna and her husband, Russ, have been married for ten years and are the proud parents of five. Their oldest son, Aydan, is entering Troy Junior High this year. Their daughter, Azaleight, is a 4th grader at Forest. Their son Austyn is three and they have 18 month old twins, Hank and Henry. Dayna is very excited to be this year’s Forest PTO treasurer and looking forward to sharing her creative thoughts and ideas with the staff.


Aimee Maurer – Member at Large

Aimee is a stay at home mom and LuLaRoe consultant. Her husband of 9 years, Eric, is a Metallurgical Engineer at Emerson in Sidney. Together they have 3 children, twins Riley and Hannah (3rd graders at Forest) and Ethan who is 4. Aimee enjoys helping out in her girls' classrooms and attending all of the school activities throughout the year at Forest.


Paul Hickernell – Member at Large

Paul moved to Troy with his wife Elise last year. They have three sons who all attend Forest. Lucas is in fourth grade. Aiden is in third. Their youngest, Jackson, starts first grade this fall. Paul is a church planter and pastor and Elise is a Physical Therapist. They have been married for 14 years and are both excited to be a part of the educational success at Forest Elementary.


Natalie Rohlfs – Member at Large

Natalie is the mom of two daughters at Forest, Deanna and Caroline, and has been involved with the PTO for a few years. She is the executive director at The Future Begins Today, where she builds academic support programming for Troy's youth. Her husband, Brad, teaches special education at Van Cleve.


Mrs. Ana Mumaw – Teacher Representative

Mrs. Ana Mumaw is currently teaching 1st grade at Forest. She is dedicated to helping all her students become self-directed learners, confident leaders, and caring citizens. When she's not at school she enjoys spending time with her family. Mr. & Mrs. Mumaw have three children: Emily (21) Davis (16) and Isabelle (12). They also have a very mellow white golden retriever named Tess. Mrs. M. is looking forward to serving the students of Forest along with the enthusiastic members and volunteers of our Forest PTO!
